Set the Probe Conditions to Probe-Hi to Probe-Lo for the Leakage Current Test parameter. This will allow the Omnia II to act as a metering device with the selected MD (Measuring Device network) falling in between the Probe-Hi and Probe-lo points.
In this setup the EUT/DUT is powered by an external power supply and all the related fault conditions are controlled by external mechanisms. Omnia II is used solely for measuring the leakage current that flows between point A and B of various requirements of standards such as the IEC 60990-1, IEC 61010-1, IEC 60106-1, etc.
